First off I bought it because my warranty had expired which is fine. The day it was supposed to be here ups sent it back because there was something wrong on the shipping end so I had to get a replacement and it still has not been shipped?
I grabbed this mobile AC unit with 450-600 sqft capacity. I'm doing a lot in the garage this summer and it is hotter inside than outside. It's terrible! But I do have a window in the garage so I hooked up this AC and it keeps the heat down by around 8 degrees by my measurements, which is a life saver.
The unit works great, seems pretty quiet (I don't really care anyway, just get the heat out!), so I'm happy.
This review is based on my calendar for the past couple of days. So much is good.
50 Pint Dehumidifier
A+++ Great machine! We had so much condensation on our basement pipes and this took care of the problem. I didn’t realize how much of a problem we had until I purchased this dehumidifier. It fills twice a day! So happy I purchased this!!
Beverage cooler, dehumidifier, plus hepa air filter - I’ll look at hOme first.
To early to comment. I am concerned that it doesn’t have a filter other than the plastic cover.
50 Pint Dehumidifier
It is working ext well for our basement. Easy to empty and use
Easy to set up
Too knit out of the box and left it sitting upright, unplugged for 24 hours in case it had been placed on its side during shipping per the warning/instructions ilon the box.
Plugged it in and filled the bucket four times in the first 24 hrs. So plugged in the hose that was provided with the unit for the pump and let it pump to a nearby drain. The pump works but pumps from the tank which stays about 2/3 full, would be nice if the pump didn't require the tank to hold so much water. Since we have a floor drain nearby I purchased a hose for the continuous drain. Now the tank stays empty.
Our 1400 SQ ft apt was staying between 80%-95% humidity all the time. After just a few days with this unit it has been able to keep the apartment stabilized between 45%-55% humidity. We can definitely tell a difference.
It makes about the same noise level as a typical floor box type fan. Noticeable but not bad.
I have no complaints thus far. I am using the bucket but intend to use the continuous drain. I am using the dehumidifier pretty far from the drain and in an area with foot traffic so I am trying to find the best way to reduce the hose size down from garden hose to 1/4" I.D. hose or possibly even 0.17" I.D. hose.
Arrived on time, security seal was broken on both of my dehumidifiers. I hope it doesn’t mean anything bad. Started using 35pint two days ago for 8 hours a day, so far emptied the bucket 4 times so far, air in my basement does feel better.
We love the new beverage refrigerator. It's so quiet, you don't even know it's in the living room. I set it at 40 degrees and everything is nice and cold. It holds a lot of bottles. It's very attractive and I love not having my big refrigerator loaded with drinks and bottles anymore.
So far it's been good. A noticeable difference from my last dehumidifier.
The air just seems fresher where the unit is located.
