Nice but Labels hard to read

I really like this dehumidifier. It looks elegant with no handle. Top has a recessed edge you can get your fingers under. And I really appreciate the tubing that came with it for the pump. Nice and long. If you forget to turn on the pump, the water collects in the bucket and (I assume) would turn it off if it got full. You may have to hit the power button twice to turn it off. A few times we had it come on again when we thought it was off. The numbers should turn to dashes in the display. And this morning it registered 60% humidity when our humidistats in the house showed 40%. The bucket is half as big as one without a pump--I guess that makes room for the pump. But I need the pump and bought it for that. Manufacturers, though, in general have not adapted to the baby boom getting older. We can't see as well and I had to use my labelmaker to make labels for the buttons and lights because there's not enough contrast on the panel. Same for my new microwave.

Works like a charm

Works very well. The water reservoir is small for a dehumidifier of this size, but this is compensated by the built in pump which we are using.

I had to replace my 50 pint DeLonghi because of a recall. I had it for 8 years, never gave us a problem. Set up my hOme 40 pint and Wow! What a difference. Basement is less humid. It does run warmer than the other, but does the job better.

dehumidified efficiently

This is a wonderful dehumidifier. It's a bit noisy, but no noisier than an oscillating fan. a great job of removing moisture from the air is. It is automatically cut off when the tank is full. Placed in a laminate floor hall, just in case it was dripping. I would not put on the carpet. I empty the water collected in the back of my toilet to save on your water bill! We live in southeastern North Carolina in the, where it is very humid in the summer. But I bought it in the winter, when we had a very rainy spell. I emptied 5x over a period of 24 hours to begin. Well, it made my home feels more comfortable on the Elimination of all that water from the air! I'm looking forward to using this summer to hopefully cut down on my bill for air conditioning.

Does what it is supposed to

This is the second dehumidifier that had recently acquired. The first one just did not pull moisture from the atmosphere enough. This unit performs beautifully. I use it in my room to help with a chronic cough, and pull down the humidity of 55% to 45% in just a few hours. The sound is roughly equivalent to a furnace or air conditioning unit. Settings have a "silent mode", which is closer to a table fan on high.

Ita € ™ s it does work

Time will tell on energy efficiency. It does not work well in my house and I can definitely say the moisture is removed. Ita € ™ s is not quiet by any means, but itâ € ™ s not so loud as to be annoying. It reminds me of a wave noise maker used for sleeping. I havenâ € ™ t used the built in only drain the tank. The dehumidifier will automatically stop running if the tank is filled
