Overall I really like it. Easy to use and washes well.
I just have two complaints. 1) the silverware basket arrived broken (hopefully seller can send a new one). 2) when I pull out the rack to load dishes, it wheels back in and won’t stay out. Needless to say this makes loading a bit annoying. Am I doing something wrong?
Pretty well packed but noticed a dent on the top ...very easy to hookup...cycling first load thru dishwasher as I write this...will update after wash results are known...not as loud as I expected it to be...
Let’s be real here, doing the dishes is a chore that can really strain your relationship at times. I did them last! You aren’t rinsing them right! Yadda, yadda. You know the deal.
So as a family of three, we decided that a dishwasher would enhance our quality of life. We could never keep up with our dishes, I love smoothies and my husband has the metabolism of a cheetah.
When it arrived, there were no dents and it hooked up very easily. No leaks, either. You can also tell it had been through quality control because a tiny bit of water poured out of the hose when we first got it.
I run this dishwasher once to twice a day. Yes, it is small. I feel like this should be common sense, it is a countertop dishwasher and cannot hold the capacity of one that goes under your counter. Yes, you have to really rinse your dishes off before you run it so you can get all of the food crud off.
Dishwashers aren’t miracle workers, they essentially run hot, soapy water at your dishes with jets. If food has been stuck to your dishes for days, or it is a substance that is hard to get off, this dishwasher doesn’t have little hands that will scrub it off. You have to do that first.
Overall, I am happy with this purchase and it’s what I expected. I’ve had it for about a month with no problems. I do not find it particularly loud or obnoxious. My only qualm is that it does not dry, at all. On any setting. It is supposed to be a drying dishwasher, so not sure what happened there. However, what do you expect for the price? We just keep the door slightly ajar after it has ran and it dries naturally.
We bought this dishwasher after the birth of our newborn son. We have Dr. Brown bottles, which have a million and one parts to them. After washing bottle after bottle in our tiny apartment we knew this would be a must have for us. Cleans our bottles pretty good and all the parts that come along with them. This dishwasher is also surprisingly spacious inside! Really easy to hook up only takes a few seconds. Overall we are very happy with our purchase.
This dishwasher washes dishes great. Does a way better job than my large, built in did which crapped out after a few years of owning. I have been washing dishes by hand. Saw this and thought I would give it a try. The only problem I have with it is that it does not fit under my countertops. I just built my house new 5 years ago, and we built with a standard cabinet height for our area. I have to use it sitting on top of my sink which causes an issue being able to use the sink. This is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. I would say measure your cabinet clearance first, but If you have the space, this is a definite good buy.
It takes up a decent amount of counter space in my tiny kitchen, so I'll admit I was a bit skeptical at first, but it is so well worth it! I love having a dishwasher again.
Set up was a breeze - I did it myself in about 10 minutes flat. Hardest part was removing a piece from my faucet (couldn't find my grippy wrench (pliers?) at first). Can take a regular dishwashing detergent and also a rinse aid.
Cycle time varies depending on which you select (from rinse only to deep clean) but ranges 75-120 minutes. I cook a lot and have a hungry family of four, so I usually run the machine twice per day, and handwash any large items. I easily fit the stated amounts of dishes in it - and the accompanying manual is informative with an included diagram to help you find your way.
Dishes always come out squeaky clean. It makes a small amount of noise, but it's barely noticeable.
I'm so glad to have this addition to my kitchen.
Quality seems really high. It is basically the same as a full size dishwasher, just with one drawer. It came with a hose to hook it up to faucet, but since I took it to work we had an adapter purchased to split it to the water line and use it that way. Now we don't have to worry about running the faucet while it is running. The president of my company allowed us to have it in our kitchenette/break room for employees. Everybody loves it and finds it extremely helpful instead of having to hand wash all the dishes.
Why didn't I purchase this machine years ago?! This review is after having the machine for 3 weeks and using it every other day or so. I'm in a typical NYC apartment with no dishwasher. I cook a lot (unlike most New Yorkers) and have been suffering through hand washing dishes for years. I finally bit the bullet and got this machine. I am in LOVE. Prior to my current apartment, I've always had a dishwasher. I can say that this machine works just like a built in larger dishwasher. I tend to rinse off my dishes before loading them, so I cannot comment on it's effectivness baked on food. Another drawback of my apt is the lack of counter space but I was able to find a cart where the unit fits like a glove from Overstock.com. If you are on the fence, buy this machine!!! It will change your life for the better.
NOTE: I had to install a basic faucet to hook up the dishwasher. The pullout spray faucets will likely not work with the adaptor. It took me less than 2hrs to remove the old faucet and replace with a new one and I wouldn't call myself super handy. Fine by me to have a simple faucet, I hardly use it anymore! :)
Perfect dishwasher! Washes 3 days worth of dirty dishes & regular Dollar tree soap pods work perfectly! Couldn't ask for a better dishwasher. I'm super happy with my purchase.
It’s not as compact as you think, but honestly, it’s a dishwasher, it can’t really be that compact. But, for the size and space, it’s as compact as it’s going to get. I know it’s white, but the picture makes it look a little more metallic and not so white, white. Make no mistake, it’s very white. It fits a decent amount of dishes, great for one or two people to use. Definitely not for larger families IMO, unless you do a lot of dishwashing a well. I’ve only had it for a short period of time, but it seems to clean very well. It’s not crazy loud, but it is a dishwasher, they make quite a bit of noise. Instructions were easy to understand. Access to hookups are easy to get to and easy to set up. It’s a little awkward in my space, I think if you have more counter space, or maybe and island it might work out better. It does have a very sleek look and feel to it though. Only issue I have is the drawer seems a bit wobbly, not sure if it’s the wheels or something else, so we’ll see.
Set up was a breeze, 5-10 minutes total. They also package this thing in a serious manner, there were wood slats in the box keeping things secure.
Immediately ran a load of dishes after hooking up the hoses and everything came out great. I’ve had another brand before and the configuration of the dish rack in this one is superior, it allowed me to get 3 days of dishes in the machine without any fuss. (Household of two).
This thing works fantastic! For my first run I put it to the test with a casserole dish and some other things that had baked food on it. Baked on spaghetti sauce was gone without a trace.
It took me a bit to figure out how to hook it up, the kitchen faucet didn't have the threading but once I got it hooked up it was very easy. It was so easy to get started I thought I was doing something wrong. It's not very loud either which is nice! I highly recommend this dishwasher.
This is such a great product to have if you don't have a dishwasher! Fits on the counter and works great! I can't believe how many dishes can fit in each load. Well worth the money!
So happy. Came packaged great. Was very secure in box so no scratches or dents. Instructions are so easy to follow. Cord hook up doesnt even need wrench it is easy twist or click on. Have used several times and love it. So many settings. Gets dishes sparkling clean. Quiet and efficient. Fits on counter under cabinets. Comes with all necessary attachments. Even dries for you. 5 stars for sure
This does what it promises at an unbeatable price and high end customer service. I plumbed this as a regular dishwasher and it works beautifully. I was installing some new modular Ikea kitchen cabinets, and found that the cabinet where of my dishwasher was supposed to go, was just an inch too small and too tight. I started looking for 18" wide dish washers which would still be an issue in terms of the install and would require cabinet modification, and came across this little miracle. It is as if it was built specifically to live in this ikea set up, it fits snug as a bug. It is all we need for a 2 person family in terms of capacity. And it is easier to het a teenager to empty, than a two rack machine. It is very sleek looking, actually my plumber thought it was a printer. The dishwasher I had to part with it was a beautiful Samsung standard 24" build in period it was as quiet as they get. Meanwhile with this dishwasher living inside a cabinet it is quite possibly even more quiet than the samsung was.
The shipping was incredible fast. It came 2 days prior to when I expected it. I have to call service once and I got somebody on the phone within minutes. The dishwasher was a rapt to endure the end of the world. I have never seen such custom construction to ensure a safe trip. I have been reusing a bunch of the protective packaging for my construction job.
We live pretty simply and happily in our 500sq ft. apartment. We're also pretty thrifty and eat most of our meals at home. So in a place this size, one dinner is enough to flood the sink, the stove, the counters with dishes. I had always begrudgingly been the one that did them. He takes care of plenty of choress. Anyway, life happened and I ended up pretty darn sick since May of 17. I somehow stumbled on these countertop dishwashers and was obsessed. Seemed like a lot of the were pricey so when I stumbled on this one, figured what's the worst that could happen? They are all built the same essentially.
Upon arrival I was worried it would be difficult to setup or not fit in. Nope. All worries for naught. Fit right in the corner and the coupling snapped right on. Hot water. Soap (I use fancy hippie soap) and that weird blue stuff. I am lazy even when it comes to the dishwashers and halfway preclean. Never had a dish come out bad yet. If I don't stock it right or overstock, that's on me. It just works. It's reasonably quiet - dare I say more than a conventional and quick. Snap off the coupling and all is right in the world. You have sparkling clean dishes an
This has truly been a life saver as I am still recovering and will be for sometime. Even though nearly all other chores are out right now, I could do the dishes the first day home from the hospital. If you know you're going to be home a lot, you want the place clean. The washers fits about 1.5 days worth of dishes from two people easy.
If you are on the fence about this purchase and it meets your needs, BUY IT! Your quality of life will improve. My only regret is not finding this sooner.
Things that might throw people off would be if you are a big cook. It's just not going to take large skillets and pasta pots. Having the right space to put the thing so it doesn't interrupt whatever chi you have going on. We were lucky. The look is light and basic so it blends into just about everything.
Why are you still reading? Buy the thing!
My place did not have a dishwasher. I begged the landlord to install one (as most of the units have one), but he's too cheap. I loathe washing dishes by hand. There were always dirty dishes in the sink. I even started to use paper plates and plastic utensils. Sorry ecosystem.
I have had it for a couple months now and it is one of my best purchases in the past decade. I ran it the night it arrived (as I said, I had a cache of dirty dishes and silverware) and have run it virtually every night since.
1. if you follow the directions, you can fit a decent amount inside, but it is what it is: a very compact dishwasher that comfortably fits on the counter top next to the sink where the dish strainer used to live. It will fit underneath cabinets if they are to code.
It's pretty quiet--except when it expels water into the sink, but that is only a few seconds a few times during the wash.
2. I have never had to wash anything a second time. Ever. I rinse a little, but do not believe in washing the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher.
3. I named it ("Dishy", because I am not that creative. Our fish are all named Goldy) and it is now a member of my family. My daughter doesn't quite grasp why I love it so much, but then again she is 7 and has never had to do dishes. Personally, I think she is just jealous that I give it so much attention.
4. If one were to ask me to decide between this and a PS4, I would choose this every time (and I am an avid COD player).
First off, I despise doing dishes with a nuclear passion. I’m a low level adult and live in places without things like dishwashers so hand washing has been my ONLY option for 5 years. I finally got sick of doing a stand off with my husband over the dishes that I said forget it and spent the money to buy it. It BARELY fits my counter there’s not a millimeter to spare and it takes up literally half the counter space I do have but I’m so thankful it fits. It came today and so far I’ve ran 2.5 loads of dishes that were pretty crusty and with using only cold water (which it heats while washing), liquid cascade detergent, and some spot free rinse they’re SO clean and dry. It’s fairly quiet, my kitchen backs up to my neighbors wall so I’m pretty mindful of noise levels and it’s barely noticeable. Keep in mind, it’s NOT fast at all. It’s quicker to hand wash but my sanity needed this and it’s way more sanitary. Thank you kind makers of this thing. Buy one, sucker a loved one into buying you one, do whatever it takes. I’m serious, life changing.
Received in perfect condition, right on time, fit under cabinets above kitchen counter, hook up like every other portable dish washer, screw adapter (which fits male or female spigot) to faucet, hand tighten hoses to back of unit, drop in dishes and dish washer detergent and in 15 minutes you are washing dishes! Works as well as any built in or full size portable machine I have ever had in the past. My only glitch was that my oversized dinner plates (11 1/2 ") won't stand up straight, so I tilted them a little . The standard sized plates went right in like they should as everything else. My second load was all pots and pans, some pretty grungy, machine has a cycle just for pots and pans and they came out beautifully, I was amazed. I really didn't expect such performance from such a tiny and reasonably priced machine. I am more than pleased!
My grandmother has never had a dishwasher... She had always been in the kitchen hand washing dishes, especially during the holidays. We always tried helping her but she never wanted us to miss out on spending time with family. She was so excited to receive this for her 81st birthday. It was easy for my husband to install and works well. I recommend this!
